Maya’s interest in writing is continuing. Today in the office Maya selected a pen and began to write a list of names. Maya concentrated as she began to make marks on her paper and listed names one by one underneath each other to form a list.
These are my names!
Maya spent some time looking at the name cards on the table and then began to form the letters.She watched the other children at the table but continued to work diligently and quietly on her writing project. Maya is also demonstrating that she has a good pincer grip when holding the pen.
