Maya was a conscientious student in Science who was helpful, respectful, and polite. During the Specialist Science Course, the following topics were explored: galaxies and space, biotechnology, DNA and cells, acid/base indicators, and geology. Maya participated in a series of experiments and other learning experiences in order to develop her skills and knowledge in these areas. Maya also explored these various disciplines of Science in order to ignite an interest or passion in one or more of these strands. By performing these experiments as part of a team, Maya was able to develop her communication, cooperation, and leadership skills. Maya also participated in various digital, creative, and theory components to communicate her observations and results. Maya is developing a good foundation of Science.
