Maya engaged in the water colour painting activity today. Maya understood the process of dipping her paint brush into the water and then adding paint from the colour blocks.Maya concentrated and began to form the arch shape required for her rainbow. She then began the stripes and carefully layered them until her painting was complete.
It’s a rainbow-I draw the colours. Maya proudly showed me her finished painting.
When Maya participates in creative art she is able to develop creativity, originality and express her emotions.In the tui room we hope to continue to allow Maya to explore her creativity by offering different creative art experiences.
